Embedded Generation Application Journey

1. PREPARE
Review EEC requirements, select an accredited installer and prepare the required documents.

2. APPLY
Visit www.eec.co.sz, where you will be directed to the application portal — www.eg.energy.org.sz. Upload the required documents, and submit the application.

3. ASSESSMENT
EEC checks compliance, metering, safety, and network capacity, then responds within 45 working days.

4. CONDITIONAL APPROVAL
If accepted, EEC issues a Conditional Approval to Install. Do not install or connect before approval.

5. INSTALL AND TEST
Install as approved, notify EEC before testing, commission the system, and upload the required records and certificates.    

6. AGREEMENTS AND PAYMENTS
Before EEC issues a final approval customer to settle required costs and sign connection agreement.

7. INSPECTION FINAL APPROVAL AND FEEDBACK
The EEC verifies compliance, issues final approval to generate. Feedback can now commence.
